Чемпионат, прошедший при поддержке Главного управления молодежи и спорта города Баку, длившийся более месяца по круговой схеме, завершился финальным матчем между командой регбийного клуба «Qaraba» и «TISA Titans». В упорной борьбе «скакуны» одержали победу над более опытным соперником со счетом 70:45 и стали победителями первого чемпионата Баку среди школьников.

В групповом этапе чемпионата подопечные Вагифа Саадатхана одержали 8 побед в 8 встречах, заняв первое место в турнирной таблице. Согласно регламенту соревнования, команды, занявшие по итогам групповых встреч первое и второе места, встретятся между собой в финале чемпионата.
