tamir ben emilThe second round of Junior Series took place on the 14th of February at the Lok-Batan stadium. Weather was not favorable for our U9 kids and decision was made for Peleng not to play under this category. Regardless of our decision not to involve our young players TISA decided to play the full age range from U7 to U13.
The day started as usual with arriving of our TISA gests to the Lok-Batan pitch. In total we had about 70 people participating on this day from TISA and around 40 kids arrived to represent Peleng Rugby Club. The following program was pre-agreed between TISA and Peleng:
13.00 hrs - U7 vs. U8 Green Team tag match
13.15 hrs - U10 match
13.35 hrs - U8 Green Team vs. U8 Blue Team tag match
13.50 hrs - U11 match
14.10 hrs - U7 vs. U8 Blue Team tag match
14.20 hrs - U13 match
15.00 hrs - THE MAIN EVENT (Senior Tag Match) - The “Baku Babes” versus “The Coaches”
A great performance by the teams was shown in each age category. And of course the main event of this day was a Senior Tag Match, the game “Baku Babes” versus “The Coaches”. “Baku Babes” side was represented by women and “The Coaches” were men supporting and training TISA’s kids. Throughout the game it was obvious that “The Coaches” team was far away from the ideal physical condition and “Baku Babes” managed to outplay them easily showing a great team spirit!
