Отдел развития Федерации Регби Азербайджана разработал план развития регби в Азербайджане. План разделён на три этапа:

а) начальный или краткосрочный, который по сути неотложный;

б) среднесрочный;

с) долгосрочный (перспектива).

2010 started with intensive preparations for the tournament in Dubai. For the preparation, children spent two test meetings with counterparts from TISA, for whom this is as a preparation for this tournament as well. It’s remarkable that Azerbaijani kids were stronger in both meetings. Also, a programme about of the preparations  was broadcasted by LİDER TV. Tournament in Dubai was the first “combat” test at this level. tamirThe second round of Junior Series took place on the 14th of February at the Lok-Batan stadium. Weather was not favorable for our U9 kids and decision was made for Peleng not to play under this category. Regardless of our decision not to involve our young players TISA decided to play the full age range from U7 to U13.

rugby.azThe 2009 was very successful for the Rugby Development in Azerbaijan. Regardless of the financial downturn allover the world the Azerbaijan Rugby Development Team consisting of Vagif Sadatkhan (Juniors Coach), Aleksey Borovskih (Azerbaijan Rugby Development Manager) and Emil Aliyev (Azerbaijan Rugby Press Attaché) managed to secure funds for the steady rugby development throughout 2009. The 2009 was full of exiting events for the 3 kids’ rugby clubs whose majority is formed by the kids from orphanage schools No1, No2 and No3 located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

It is directed at achieving optimal training, performance, competition, and recovery throughout the career of a player.
